Danube Park in Novi Sad
It has never happened that someone passes this park without staying just a bit of time. Danube park of Novi Sad is attractive all the year long, like it is the Petrovaradin fortress during the summer and especially during Exit Festival. Landscaping of this place started at the end of the 19th century, but besides the green oasis and plants, numerous cultural monuments make it even more interesting. A small lake with an island is a crown of the Danube Park beauty. Perfect place for urban breaks, weekend getaways and walks any time of day and night.
Too early for swimming but it’s not too early to search inspiration, to enjoy and completely relax. All it takes is just brief glance over the lake to recognize what a beauty awaits the visitors; sports and recreation, entertainment, cultural events, the nearby Golubac castle from Roman ages, Viminacium. Fullness of plants is a perfect frame for the azure pearl water. This is one of the most beautiful places in East Serbia visited by many tourists from all over. And even more important, the visitors of various ages find interests for themselves.

The highest peak of Avala
April is the time for many to return to their favorite practice – enjoy the weekends in open. Let’s say, Belgrade has many places where you can spend pleasant hours outside the typical city noise; but let’s take a step further. Have you heard for the fortress Zrnov? It was situated on Avala, built by Romans in the middle ages. The Turks conquered it finally disappeared in 1924. Nowdays, there is a Monument to Unknown Hero, the sculpture of the famous Ivan Mestrovic. The tour of this place is more than a weekend break, for the fact that it is 511 meters above the sea level. This is also an adrenaline adventure full of surprises.
