EXIT is a multi-award-winning International summer Music Festival. It takes place every year in Novi Sad inside the Petrovaradin Fortress, which many consider to be one of the best festival venues on the planet. It emerged as a student social movement in 2000, and now-days EXIT is still the only festival in the world that grew out of the desire for progress and aspirations to freedom.
In 2017, EXIT Summer of Love will mark the events of 1967 when the hippie revolutionary movement emerged and forever changed the world. This year’s EXIT festival will be held from 6-th to 9-th July, with special performance of The Killers on the Get EXITed event on July the 5-th. Besides The Killers band, Petrovaradin Fortress will host many other world music stars such as Liam Gallagher, Years & Years, Rag’n’Bone Man, Hardwell, Paul Kalkbrenner, Solomun b2b Dixon, Alan Walker, Duke Dumont, Robin Schulz, Black Coffee Jake Bugg, Princess Nokia, Faithless DJ Set, Foreign Beggars, Noisia, Hot Since 82, The Black Dahlia Murder, Arkona, Samael and many others.
Besides the famous festival inside the Fortress, in the context of this unique EXIT Summer of Love, there will be three other music festivals in the region. The first one is Sea Star, which premiere will be held on 26-th and 27-th May in the Istrian town of Umag, the following one is the Revolution festival in Timisoara, from 1-st to 3-rd June, and immediately after the EXIT festival, follows the fourth edition of Sea Dance Festival from 13-th to 15-th July.
